Bradley A. Johnson, 46, of McLeansboro passed away at 6:12 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 in Christian Chapel Church in McLeansboro, with the Rev. Ruby McDowell and the Rev. Harol Whitlock officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12 in the church. Memorials may be made to the Children of Bradley Johnson and will be accepted at the church. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements. He was born June 26, 1963 in McLeansboro, the son of Danny Johnson and Velma Maxine (Austin). Mr. Johnson was employed as an ambulance dispatcher for Med Force Ambulance in Eldorado. He attended the Christian Chapel Congregation Christian Church. Mr. Johnson served in the United States Navy for 12 years and served in the Gulf War. Survivors include his father Danny R. Johnson and wife Sandy of McLeansboro, his mother Velma Perryman and husband Herman "Red" of Thompsonville, a daughter Rikki Unfried of McLeansboro, a son Christopher Johnson of Salem, a brother Scott Johnson and wife Jackie of McLeansboro, two sisters, Deannine Craddock and husband Donnie of McLeansboro and Tammy Joplin of Belleville; step-brothers, Jimmy Ingram and wife Saundra of Dale, Scott Ingram and wife Teresa of McLeansboro, Justin Ingram and wife Kara of Norris City and Steve Perryman of Chicago, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He loved his work, fishing and was an avid reader.
