SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - Kennette Ann Meredith, daughter of the late Kenneth Dean Willmore and Donniemay Price Willmore, was born Aug. 5, 1959 in St. Louis, and departed this life Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at the at the age of 50 years. Kennette was a former truck driver for J.B. Hunt trucking, had her CDL license, an avid supporter of our U.S. Military and a resident of Dexter. She had a GED and took a few courses at John A. Logan College. Survivors include two daughters, Cassandra Lee Meredith of Kennett, Mo. and Julieanna May Meredith of Dexter; paternal grandmother, Elberta Willmore of Galatia; two sisters, Wilma Willmore of Herrin and Janice Russel of Broughton; one brother, Kenneth Willmore Jr. of Johnston City; six grandchildren, Devon Slayton of Canalou, Mo., Aiden Lopez of Dexter, Chaz Autry of Senath, Mo. and Hailie Fuller, Makayla Carnell and Cameron Carnell, all of Kennett, Mo.; two nephews, Robert Raudenbushof Broughton and Christopher Lopez, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and three nieces, Rachelle Coleman of Dexter, Kendra Willmore of Johnston City and Jennifer Pruitt of Broughton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Beaunia Price; paternal and maternal grandfathers, Ceble Willmore and Joseph Davis; sister, LeAnn Pflasterer; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Pflasterer. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in Broughton Community Building in Broughton, with David Angelly officiating.
