Bill and Barbara Tolley celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently. Bill Edmond Tolley married Barbara Coralyn Barker on Oct. 27, 1951, at Dale Methodist Church. They were attended by their lifelong friends, Jim and Euladean (Austin) Mick. Bill and Barbara were high school sweethearts. They met as juniors at McLeansboro High School. They have three daughters, Carolyn (Howard) Nimmons of Florissant, Mo., Loralea (David) Liss of Savoy and Teresa (John) Hocking of Mahomet. They have four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Bill and Barbara moved from McLeansboro to Litchfield in 1960 when Bill accepted a position as farm market manager for Kaiser Agricultural Chemical Co. He remained with the company throughout his career, serving in various capacities, and retired as the corporate specialty products marketing manager in 1999. Barbara was a homemaker. In addition, she worked as the church secretary for St. Timothy United Methodist Church in Litchfield for 15 years.
