Vernon Countryside Manor in Mt. Vernon, IL. He was a farmer and carpenter, and a member of the Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church in McLeansboro, where he taught Sunday School for many years and was a Deacon. Surviving are four daughters, Emma Lou Gibson of Woodstock, IL, Cora Lee Fletcher of Salem, IL, and Cecelia M. Wagner and Gayla Davenport both of Mt. Vernon, IL; one daughter-in-law, Louise Harrelson of Salem, IL; one sister, Ella Mae Hiltibidal of Mt. Vernon, IL; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Roy Harrelson will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 4 at Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church in McLeansboro. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at McLeansboro. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. Sunday, December 4 until the time of service at the Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
