    3. Erma Brieseacher, 99, of Mt. Vernon, Illinois passed away at 10:25 A.M. on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at White Oak Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Erma was born on Friday, May 24, 1912 in Belle Prairie, Illinois the daughter of the late John Oscar and Lillie Mae (Gordon) Trotter. She married Amus P. Brieseacher on December 17, 1938 in Belle Prairie, Illinois and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1994. Surviving family members include her brother: Bernard "Bud" Trotter of Belleville, Illinois; sister: Bernice Poer of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews survive including: 3 nieces: Mildred Wilson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Arlene Owens and husband Jerry of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and Joyce Dempsey and husband Allen of Woodlawn, Illinois; 2 nephews: Richard Brieseacher and wife LaVin of Mt. Vernon, Illinois and James Brieseacher of St. Louis, Missouri; 2 sisters-in-law: Mary Trotter and Gayle Trotter both of Wayne County, Illinois; several great nieces and nephews also survive. Her parents, husband, four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Erma worked at the International Shoe Factory in Mt. Vernon, Illinois until retiring and was the eldest living member of Logan Street Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Erma worked at the International Shoe Factory in Mt. VISITATION: will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the service time at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. Reverend Jimmy Bledsoe will officiate. INTERMENT: Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Logan Street Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864.
