James G. Sutton 89-year-old Norris City resident, James G. Sutton died Thursday, Nov. 17 at his home. He was a longtime grain and livestock farmer. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Myrtle; a daughter, Nancy Colbert of Norris City; four sons, Richard, Bob and Roger Sutton; all of Norris City and David Sutton of McLeansboro; a sister, Emma Noe Holliday of Russellville, KY; 14 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 15 step-great-grandchildren. Services for James G. Sutton will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Plainview General Baptist Church in Norris City with burial in the Plainview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 Friday evening, Nov. 18 at Plainview General Baptist Church. The Campbell Funeral Home of Norris City is in charge of all the arrangements.
