Thurman (Mutt) Munsell 72-year-old McLeansboro resident, Thurman (Mutt) Munsell, died at 6:20 a.m. Friday, December 16 at Hamilton Memorial Nursing Center in McLeansboro. He was a retired construction worker. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the American Legion Post 106, a lifetime member of the Carmi VFW, a lifetime member of the McLeansboro Eagles Lodge #2699. Surviving are two sons, Michael Munsell of Florida and Bobby Redmon of McLeansboro; two brothers, Mike Patterson of McLeansboro and Ivor Patterson of Great Bend, KS; and three sisters, Sue Webb of Dale, IL, Patty Hartline of McLeansboro and Vickie Williams of Saraland, AL. Funeral services for Thurman (Mutt) Munsell will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 19 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial will be in the Veterans Section of the IOOF Cemetery at McLeansboro, with graveside military rites by the American Legion Post #106. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, December 18 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro
