Betty Brayfield 74-year-old Broughton, IL resident, Betty Brayfield, died at 4:20 a.m. Friday, December 9 at Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado, IL. Surviving are five daughters, Eva Taylor of Cahokia, IL, Barbara Ebers of Kentucky, Carolyn Pruitt of Broughton, Dora Ray of Franklin, PA and Karen Williams of Houston, TX; three sisters, Nona Lamance and Pauline Barr both of California and Ethel Sweet of Oregon; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Betty Brayfield will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16 at the Gholson Cemetery at Broughton. There will be no visitation. Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
