MCLEANSBORO -- Samuel K. Read, 80, died at 1:20 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, in St. Louis University Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Antioch Cemetery in Macedonia. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
