Shauna...if you are saying that all the messages that you have received are "coming from the same e mail address" and included an attachment [the virus file mentioned concerning advice] then the best thing to do at this point is use your "block" feature on your mail program and block reception of mail from that e mail....be sure and also set up your mail program to empty the delete folder each time you close the program....if the offending mail is coming from a friend's e address.... simply e them and say.. you will not be able to receive any additional mail from them until matter cleared up...because the virus is on "their machine"....even if they are not initiating the message themselves from their address the virus is....automatically...and they need to use a program to "clean" their situation...they may have to acquire another email address "after" cleaning their machine so as not to infect system again and to be able to communicate with those who have put a block on their original e address... hope this explanation helps....
