Darrell.. ....the transcription of the 1860 on The Yesterdays in Hamilton County website do not show a Soloman Holt on the index or in the home of any Gholson....however........there is an an unusual listing that you might consider....far afield but perhaps one of the Gholson line could fill you in better.....I know there are several errors/ifs on the 1860.....some in my own lines.....but here is the entry I found interesting... However, there is a listing for a Soloman Holt in 1860 in Washington Co.,ILLinois..which is NW a couple of counties from Hamilton. It is only an index listing..you would need to locate the film or fiche at an LDS center [Family History Center] or possibly contact someone in Washington Co,IL for a lookup if they have access to a copy. I'm not aware of any complete 1860 for Washington on line yet. I know Ancestry.com doesn't have the images yet..only the index listing that popped up.
