Lots of names here of people who came to him for medicine etc. I found it very interesting how they settled their accounts with produce, bacon, livestock, knives, saddles etc. I can fully understand now why he had an interest in a store to convert this to cash. This Journal is in two parts. Also on the page is Public School 1905 list of pupils,Contractor's Time Book 1913 and Gholson & Reeves Day Book #3 1894 - The William W. Gayle Day Book 1869 - 1872 Many names listed in these also. Silvetta says there is more on the way!!
