Does anyone know the parents of Jane Nations or Benjamin Phipps who were married on 10-22-1843 in Hamilton County? They were living with my gggrand parents Thompson and Julia (Webb) Farris in the 1850 census. In the 1860 census a William Phipps age 20 was living with the same Thompson and Julia Farris. I suspect the Phipps and Webbs or Farris were related but I have no idea how. I found many Phipps in White County and found that a Benjamin Phipps was in the 1820 White County census however this can't be the same Benjamin. The Benjarmin living with Thompson and Julia was 26 in 1850 so he was not born until 1824. Another list member has a Mary Phipps who married a Lane and was the mother of the Hamilton County Judge James Lane. Any information on these families will be appreciated.
