Hello Everyone, I don't post very often but I was wondering if anyone had access to the statewide marriage records for Illinois. I live in midwest Wisconsin and can't get down there myself. I am looking for a marriage record for my grandparents, who are both deceased. We believe they were married in 1937 "because they had to". We also believe that it was in and around March to May that they were married. My grandmother would have been 17 and my grandfather 21. Their names are Lafie aka Lewis James and Nancy Madelin(e) Austin. Their birthdates Lafie 28 Aug 1916 and Nancy 30 Nov 1920. Their parents names were Lewis Austin and Anna York, Andrew R. James and Sarah E. Sprinkle (maybe Springle). If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time.
