    3. Seeking confirmation of relationship between my Hutsons of KY with those in "Hutson Cemetery" Hamilton Co IL: "My" John P(inkney) Hutson (1827-1895) is buried here, with wife Eliza C. (1843-1885) and daughter Lydia J. Jennings (1873-1912) and son Charles W. (1875-1912). This makes me feel like John P. is kin to the other Hutsons buried there--Eliza Hutson Barron, Louisa Hutson Campbell, Teresa Hutson Sloan, Susan Hutson Upchurch and Ida Hutson Upchurch, plus other Hutsons there, including the wife of Uel Hutson (Mary E.) and other of his children. John Pinkney Hutson is the youngest son of John Hutson and Sarah Little Hutson, who lived in Livingston Co KY (on Illinois border). After Sarah's death, John married Lucinda Mitchell and had several more Hutson children. At John's death, there was a lawsuit between his presumed heir and youngest son, James K. Polk Hutson, and the other children, from both marriages. James K. Polk retained possession of the estate. My great-grandfather, Thomas Hutson, one of the sons from second marriage, eventually sold his property and moved to AL. It appears that John Pinkney moved to Illinois. Does anyone know of his relationship to the Illinois Hutsons? My theory is that they are all related to Chamberlain Hutson. John Pinkey Hutson's father John was born c. 1793 in NC. Would love to hear from anyone with any clues....

Not researching any of these but thought I would mention in case you didn't know.... just from looking at the obits book at a glance, Uel Harrison Hutson is also buried there and in 1888 it was referred to as the family burying ground. His wife is named as Elizabeth Mitchell.... may or may not be a connection to your Lucinda?? Trev
