Barb, I think that James Barnett's middle name was probably Zachariah after his grandfather. E. C. is Elizabeth Catherine Allen. Probate records showed she married William Barnett. There seems to be alot of cousins marrying cousins here. Also a couple of double weddings. So, perhaps, your Elizabeth Catherine Allen married William Barnett on or about 25 Jan 1855, when her brother married Nancy Barker.
