Thomas Berry Wooldridge was born 1827 (Kentucky, probably) and died in Hamilton County, Illinois in 1892; He married Martha Jane Ritchey before 1850, she was born 1834 and died 1906. Can anyone help with the ancestry of Thomas and Martha? In the 1860 census, there is Samuel Ritchey, two doors down from Thomas and Martha, are these her parents? Thomas Berry Wooldridge was the son of John Wooldridge and Nancy Bourland. He was born in 1827 KY and died at his home in Hamilton Co., IL on 15 Apr 1894. He is buried in Hebron Church Cemetery, Hamilton Co., IL. His parents resided in Hoodsville. Thomas married Matha Jane Ritchey on 14 Jun 1849 in Hamilton Co., IL. She was born in 1832 Ky and died Nov 1906. She is buried with her husband. After the marriage, the couple moved back to KY for a while, where they resided with Thomas's uncle. They had four children in KY: Charles, Louella Annette "Nettie", Cordelia, and Henry Frank. They moved back to Hamilton Co., IL by the 1860 Census, and had five more children: John H., Thomas G., David Berry, Samuel Erastus "Rassie", and Lee. Thomas was a farmer, and an elder of Hebron Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He left a will, recorded in McLeansboro. That's what I have.
