Overman Julia Frankie Irvin b. 09 Jul 1912 married Ralph Davison 15 Jul 1912 Mt. Vernon Daily News Mt. Vernon, IL The death of Mr. Frank Irvin, a well-known and substantial citizen of Moores Prairie occurred this morning at his home.  He had ben seriously ill for sometime with typhoid fever.  He leaves a wife and three children.  His mother, Mrs. Julia Irving, and sister, Miss Hattie Irving, a teacher in the Franklin school live in East Main Street, and a brother, Dr. Ivin, lives at Sesser.  The funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Was there an Illinois State Census during that time period? Or for Hamilton Co. I am still trying to find Joseph Smith in this time period. He was born about 1804 . He was on the 1870 Hamilton Co. Census list with wife, Mary Margaret (Mrs. Peggy) but she was listed in 1880 living with her youngest son Enoch Taylor Smith If they exist, where could I find out information from them? I sure don't. I can tell you that George and jane were in the household of William Mclean on the Ham Co 1870 census on 5 July and that Willam and Joseph were here also... For Effie's obit in Legacy it says she is the d/o George Dye (& Jane Smith- see Ham co m. #2388 25 aug 1864).... the Jane Smith part was added by Mr. Felty so it's possible that Effie could have had another mother as you suggest.... Columbus Dye was in Kencie, Ark. at time of her death (and was only sib mentioned) and he son Lealon Summers was in Thompsonville, Franklin Co., IL, and mabel of Jacksonville, IL?.....
