    3. Thanks to all of you that have replied on the Legacy of Kin book. It must be really great, considering the amount of email that came through! I am ordering it tomorrow. I am researching the line of Henry Stewart who married Annis Munsell. They were married in McLeansboro, died there and are buried there. I am trying to find any information on them or their descendents. They had 9 children, but I think only 1 stayed in the area, Chalan Garfield Stewart, I think he was a teacher. Can anybody send me to the right direction? Looking for stories about their life, possibly pictures of them, I would take anything! Susan

    2. I have a "floating" BIGGERSTAFF in my database (i.e., can't link to to the other BIGGERSTAFFs...but I have a feeling she should be)...and can't think of a better list to send an ad off to...so, here goes. Sallie Turner BIGGERSTAFF (b. Feb 26, 1872 in Missouri / d. April 15, 1946 in Clinton County, Mo.) married, on Dec 25, 1895, to David Rice CHENOWETH (b. 1869 / d. 1953...both in Clinton County...parents were born in Pike County, Illinois...down the road from FCI and HCI). Is she linked to the HCI/FCI BIGGERSTAFF family? By the way, CHENOWETH is one of my primary lines. - Tom Wilson (in HCI/FCI, researching primary lines of GIBBS, LANE and RICHARDSON)

    3. HUTCHCRAFT'S AND CRISELS PLEASE STUDY THIS CLOSELY. John H. (HARRISON???) Hutchcraft b 12-10-1824 Bourbon County Ky father: Reuben Lee Hutchcraft mother: Frances Hedges grandmother: Eleanor HARRISON Apperson (Thomas) Hutchcraft wed: 9-4-1856 Bourbon Co Ky to Mary Jones d. 5-3-1889 Sherman TX - Grayson County 1840 Bourbon County Census 1850 NO 1860 Bourbon County Census John Hutchcraft b. when/where father :? mother ? wed: Mary Charlotte Crisel 1-3-1849 Hamilton County children: William HARRISON Hutchcraft b 11-7-1849 Charlie Hutchcraft b 1851 (what happened to him?) disappeared and Mary Charlotte was granted a divorce in 1855 - she went on to wed George Daily (what happened to them?) The age would be good, the family name HARRISON is present, the timing is excellent. It seems #l John H. Hutchcraft was NOT in Bourbon County Ky in 1850 - is this him in Hamilton County in 1850? And then return to Bourbon County and wed in 1856 to Mary Jones and move to Texas? Any suggestions? Gail Hahn Hutchcraft ladybug@arends-sons.com

    3. Phyllis and Carol, I love the photos of the old homes. I see several of them everytime I go through McLeansboro but never knew which house was part of what family. In particular I want to see if the house near the old high school, about a block off the highway to Mt. Vernon, which is obviously a George Franklin Barber design--he did the Castle in Carmi and Gray House in Grayville and Arthurs mansion in Mt. Vernon--is in the book. It is a Queen Anne and shingle style. Cindy Birk Conley Carmi, IL Phyllis Campbell wrote: > > As usual, Carol has done a remarkable job with the Yesterdays site.
