    3. I don't know about these books but I went through some a few years ago that had lots of wrong information in them....remember to confirm information you find...my mother was shown as my fathers sister in the IOOF Cemetery in Dahlgren in some records. ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael L. Brehm Library in Mt. Vernon recently and they seem to have all of Sharon's cemetery books. I believe her 1992 edition is 5 volumes of selected cemeteries, mostly in the Dahlgren area with a few from other parts of the county. She then plubished a 9-volume set of cemetery books in 1998 called Kin and Friends: v.1. IOOF Cemetery, Dahlgren v.2. Garrison Cemetery v.3. Crouch Cemetery v.4. Blooming Grove Cemetery v.5. Richardson Hill Cemetery v.6. Middle Creek Cemetery v.7. Bethel/Waugh, Crisel and Preston Cemeteries v.8. St. John Nepomucine Cemetery, Dahlgren v.9. Pleasant Hill, Stull, Atchison, Shelton and Rawls Cemeteries I don't know where any copies of Sharon's books can be had. I just wanted to say that Ryan and Micki and others from the Historical Society have the genealogy library at McCoy Library in great shape and it is a great place to do Hamilton Co. research. Micki Faruzzi and I went to the Williamson County Historical Society's genealogy library Thursday and discovered that there are three volumes of Hamilton County Cem. records published by Sharon Easley in 1992. We do not currently have these books in our gen. library in Hamilton County. Does anyone have any idea of where some might be aquired? ______ Over the last few months, we have aquired more than 150 new books. If you haven't been up to the genealogy library in Hamilton County, it is worth looking again. Brand new shelf files and binders have been added. It looks nice. There will be no visitation or funeral services. The family will conduct a private burial of ashes at a later date. He was born in Harrisburg on Oct. 29, 1928, to Dr. Earl and Gertrude (Jones) Reel. After receiving his University of Illinois degree in dentistry, he completed three year residencies in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Northwestern University, Cleveland Clinic, St. Vincent's Hospital system and the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Reel chose to return to Southern Illinois to practice his advanced surgical training. His primary mission was to perform his specialty surgery in the smaller hospitals of his home area. Toward the end, he lectured and operated in 17 Southern Illinois hospitals, pioneering his specialty as a "circuit rider," operating in the patients' own community local hospital. His service was especially noteworthy on more advanced facial trauma cases. Heart problems ultimately limited his broad based surgical service into an extended semi-retirement.
