Hi to all, I am searching for information on John Shadrack BROWN born in England November 25, 1815 who married Jane Mansfield 1859-1860(born March 26 1833 in England). Immigrated to the US and settled at Ford County, Illinois and by 1867 lived in Grundy County, Illinois. Moved to Kansas in 1874. Five children: Thomas born 1861, Ford County, Illinois; Mary Elvira born 1863, Parkton, Ford County, Illinois; Fannie May born 1867, Grundy County, Illinois; Elizabeth Belle born 1869, Grundy County, Illinois; Charles born 1873, Ford County, Illinois (my Grandfather). The family moved to Womer, Smith County, Kansas in 1874 and homesteaded on land there and was not able to pay up on the homestead and so they lost it and then moved to Nebraska around the Anselmo Custer County, area. Does anyone have any information about this family? I am seeking where they were born in England. I will be glad to share any information that I have.
