If you should have time, I would be delighted if you could find information my g-g-grandfather, Matthew Johnson and his wife Mary who lived near Mazon, IL. It is possible they lived in the Goodfarm Township around 1870. I do know is that my g-grandfather John was born to Matthew and Mary (Preston) Johnson on July 2, 1860, but I know very little about any siblings of John or the origins of Matthew's parents.
