I have just joined this list, and look forward to rounding out the bits and pieces of information that I have found on my G. G. grandparents: ANANIAS WILSON, b March 1830/31 (maybe in Ohio) + Jane Netta (Jannetta) Wooton, b 12 Oct 1831 (place unk) m. 22 Jul 1850, St. Joseph County, IN. I have copy of the Muster Rolls for the Civil War from the Illinois State Archives that shows Ananias Wilson, age 33, joined for service on 27 Dec 1861. residence: Morris, Grundy Co. IL. Under remarks, rather than stating when he was discharged, it states: Died in Hospital (date and place not known). I have, so far, been unable to find this family on a census, either in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan (I am told in the 1800s many people crossed over from Michigan to St. Joseph Co., IN to be married), or in Illinois. Would appreciate if anyone has information or can look up information for me in Grundy Co., IL. I assume Jane Netta and their children were also in Morris. I have been unable to trace any of their children.
