Hi! I am doing research on the Ash family which appears on Grundy County Census in 1860 (i.e., Philip and Katharine Ash; brother and sister, 23 and 17 years old) with a Conrad Miller; all from Hessen, Germany. Philip married an Arminitha Ellis in 1862 (from New York) and they had four children: George A., Mary Isabel, Edward Philip and Charles Wesley (spanning from 1863 - 1879). Katharine Ash married we think unknown Young. Edward Philip married a Jennie Gilbert in Grundy County. Any information regarding Philip, Katharine, Arminitha Ash formerly Ellis; or George A.
