Sure enough, I find an Osmund Osmundsen, born 1824, listed on Bruk 1 of this farm in volume 1 of the Tysvær bygdebøker, page 305. Osmund was the 4th born of the 5 children of Osmund Osmundsen Nes and Synnøve Jensdtr. Lundervoll. It looks like he took over Bruk 1 of Lundervoll after his father's death, getting the deed in 1847, however he sold the place in 1849. Further, it says that Osmund married in 1848 to Sølvi Larsdt. Odland (also in Tysvær), 1831-1848. They had one child, Ingeborg, who was born in 1848 and went "to America" in 1865. While it is not clear in my book, it appears that Osmund's wife died shortly after their marriage and birth of their first child. No specific mention is made of Osmund's emigration, nor is any mention of a second marriage for him, at least in what I have found so far. I will keep digging.
