My mother was the Olympic Swimmer Martha Norelius. I have two older sisters, May in St. Louis, Mo. and Vallan in Baton Rouge, La. My mother was married to Joe Wright from Canada, the rowing champion. They had one daughter, Diane Wright Stewart. She married and had 6 children. Are you one of them? Then she married my father, Alanson Brown Jr., from St. Louis, where I was born. I am the youngest and live in Phoenix, AZ. My mothers parents were Vallan and Charles Norelius of West Palm Beach, Florida and West Virginia. I don't know much about their side of the family. I think Granny Vallan was an only child and I don't remember about Grandfather. They were from Stockholm, Sweden and came over to the US I think when mother was about 6 yrs. old.
