    1. [ILGRUNDY] Death index online?
    2. I spent hours going through the Will County Death Index (all pre-1916) at the Coal City Public Library. And now I'm reading that info may already be online! lol I thought I saw something to that effect somewhere in a post. Can anyone tell me if this death index is online and if the Grundy County Death Index (of any years) is online as well and where one could find these? If they are not available online then at least my research was not in vain. But if they are, then I can always go back and double check my information. FYI - The Will County Death Index (pre-1916) usually includes a listing for burial info for the person. Often the actual cemetery and it's location (municipality, township) is mentioned (even out-of-state burials). At the very least the location of the burial place (municipality, township) is mentioned. I didn't see all of the cemeteries transcribed in the books at the Coal City Public Library but alot of them are. Are any of these cemeteries transcribed anywhere online? I am particularly interested in the Catholic cemeteries - either in Will or Grundy County. FYI - I checked the Coal City Public Library website. I went to the Genealogy page and tried to use their cemetery search feature. Apparently only a small portion of one cemetery has been entered there as of yet. None of my surnames yielded any result except "No info found". Thanks for any advice on the death index and cemetery info. Barry Jernigan Murfreesboro, TN
