Hi Barry! SO, you made it to my home town in CC! Are you from there also? The CC library is great for info, even more so since the WGGS, Will-Grundy Gen Soc. transferred their holdings from the Braidwood library. A few of those surnames I recognize as growing up as a kid ( I left in 1969 ), but I have been back to CC pretty much every yr since then, the last time in July of this yr. Interesting what you have to say about Kratochvil, I have never heard that before. Their not related to me, but married into the SWARTZ's. Ill ask my cousin to locate them and try to ask this question. She knows some Craterfield's too. There is also a Kratochvil castle in southern Bohemia, I think they were Nobles. I have a list of surnames that I am interested in, and appear AS Obits in the paper, CC Courant and have been wanting to post to the list for referance. It is a future project. I hope someday the library, or WGGS can get all the Obit surnames listed in one Index, there are dupe's now for sure, I have been thru them several times. Its a great Library I think, tho my elderly Aunt is nor fond of the Architecture!
