I am related to him through his brother Samuel Clayton who was my great-great grandfather. In a 16 page hand written Clayton family tree that I have in my possession it lists Daniel Clayton's date of death as 16 September 1916. If you are interested in a copy please e-mail me and perhaps we can share information on our two different branches of the Clayton family tree. I am starting to work back to England where they came from and perhaps we can help each other out!
