My mother was Loretta Mae Colleps, the sister of JB Colleps. My mother died in East Africa in 1979 and is buried on Mt. Kilimajaro in Tanzania. I never knew my uncle JB but have always been told that I look very much like him and from photos that seems to be the case. I may have a few photos of JB and his brother Carl Colleps. Carl was an ACE in the Army Air Corps during WW II. He was one of the original Flying Tigers in China. My grandmother (their mother) was Arah Mae Colleps from Waxahachie. If I have photos of JB etc I will be more than willing to provide them. I would also like to know anything that you can find out about my uncle as I was never able to know him since he died before I was born. My grandmother had 14 children so JB had alot of brothers and sisters and half brothers and half sisters. JB's father was Benny H. Colleps of Waxachie who died in 1963. Benny was a WWI veteran who was also a pilot. It has be! en the knowledge within the family (never varfied) that he was shot down in WWI in France. I probally have alot more information concerning the family history. Please contact me if you need more information. Just out of curiousity, what is the connection of JB with Missouri. I know we had relatives in Missouri but it seems strange to me that a memorial for JB is being done in Missouri. Of course I did not know my uncle or his wife and child. I would love to have Charlene Parks contact me as I have no way to find her. Bob Hedrick
