I too am looking for information on the Long's and Creecy's. Nancy Creecy Long was my gg grandmother. I do have a picture of myself, Mother, grandfather, and his mother and his grandmothers, Nancy Creecy and Mary Davidson Thaxton. I do know Luther Long was in the civil war,don't know his parents. Nancy Creecy's parents were Edward Creecy and Cynthia Withlow.according to her death certificate. She died 5 March 1934. and is buried in Hickory Grove cemetery Wrights Il. She was born 15 Jan. 1841 Luther Porter Long b. 1836 d. 1917, buried Hickory Grove. I know they had at least Georg B, Ina, James Jeff, Lona B all buried in Hickory Grove. There are a number of Longs in the 1850 and 1860 census for Greene Co. but no Luther so I don't know when they came to Greene Co., but I think they came from KY.
