I am having a heck of a time trying to find any proof of marriage for my gg grandparents William B. BRIDGEFORD and Katherine (Katy) OSBORN(E). They were supposedly married 8/6/1874 in White Hall, Ill. Does anyone know if the records were lost, burned etc? Any suggestions of other places to look? Its not in any of the Illinois or county marriage lists. Did newspapers at the time publish marriage blurbs? Thanks for any help, Janice Pearson
