Avie - I believe the Pleasant Caudle, sister of William is the daughtr of Thomas Caudle and Margaret Unknown. After Margaret died Thomas married Naomi Smith Weddle. Mary E. and Sarah A. were other siblings. Naomi Smith Weddle is my line and I imagine she raised those children, but I can't find any more about them. Naomi died in Idaho so perhaps they all went there. Would be interested in any information you might have on this Caudle family.
