Eleanor Do you have anything on Mary Waggoner she married my ggg-grandfather Alex King. Here is what little family info I have on her. WILLIAM R. WAGGONER was born August 04, 1798 in Montgomery CO., Virginia, and died December 08, 1853 in Plainview, Illinois. He married SARAH GOFORTH. She was born 1803 in Tennesse. Children of WILLIAM WAGGONER and SARAH GOFORTH are: 2. i. MARY WAGGONER, b. September 17, 1825, , , KY; d. February 28, 1907, Roodhouse, Greene Co., IL. ii. SARA ALMEDIA WAGGONER. iii. Kent, Have you checked with the Greene Co. Historical & Genealogical Society? They have the 1879 and 1885 County Histories. There is family information on Alexander King and his wife Mary Waggoner and their children in the Histories and there may be other info. in their family file. I have copies of the info. on the Waggoners and portions of, but not complete, info. on the Kings. My descent is through John D. Waggoner and his second marr. to Mary Jane Aulabaugh. Their daughter Sarah Elizabeth Waggoner marr. Charles H. Perrine. Good luck on your search. Let me know if I can be of further help.
