Folks, I must clear this up once and for all, about what happens to the transcribed articles once they are complete. This is it. I am first obligated to the Societies from which I received the articles. This is cut and dry. They had the materials there in their building, their files, their boxes and boxes of materials. They didn't have to let me pilfer through them. They did and I am grateful. They get the finished work first. Then it is published in the newsletter for their members. Then it will be made available to the websites. I've had two people who disagree with this and they think the transcripted materials should be posted to the websites for ILJersey and ILGreene first. This is fine and I respect their views. It isn't going to happen but I respect their views. If you agree with them and don't wish to support my decision then please don't volunteer. No matter how much help I need, please allow me to respect those who made the materials available in the first place. Those people are the Jersey County Historical Society and the Greene County Historical Society. Thanks. Marty
