"Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it" "Those who don't know history are condemned to repeat it." "There is an old adage spoken by an even older man that says "Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it," George Santayana, 1863-1952." Speech writers have use some form of this quote for a great many years. William Shakespeare used it. Will Rogers used it. Winston Churchill used it.
