There is a fix for the 'ole' I had the same problem with the family tree maker everytime I used it. I got tired of reinstalling it because the language would change. I contacted them, and I don't know the correct terminology, but they led me through the process of changing the regional settings screen to come up everytime I turn the computer on. All you do then is click out of screen, but it has stopped the problems totally with the OLE message. Chris
