I am new to this list, so didn't know about the Greene County book. If this is a history book of the county, with information about various individuals, I could use a lookup, as I think I had Briscoes in this county. Still awaiting the arrival of some death certificates I ordered from the county, but does anyone here know any thing about any Briscoes who lived there in the late 1800's and early 1900's? Some specific names are: Thomas Briscoe, d. 5/10/1917 at White Hall; Ira Briscoe, d. 1/12/1921 at White Hall; Jerry (probably short for Jeremiah) Briscoe, d. 3/21/1931 at Roodhouse, and John J. Briscoe, d. 4/7/1945 at White Hall.
