The Denham I have is Amanda Denham (no dates) who married James Arthur Davis (b. 1811 in NC, son of Jane Morrow and James Davis (Sr.?)). She was the 3rd wife of James Arthur Davis, and there is one child listed to them, Mahala Davis, b. 1842-43 in Greene Co. IL. (I have not verified any of this info. after receiving it from another researcher). I tend to think Amanda was the 2nd wife and that there were other children; the list probablly needs clarification!! It does look as if all of them were in Greene Co. IL. The Pruitt info. is also connected to the same James Arthur Davis. Rosanna Pruitt b. 1827 is listed as his first wife. Hope this gives you some useful leads, but do remember the facts need to be clarified and verified!
