My connection is through the Davis side (and indirectly through the Morrow side, for Arthur Morrow's daughter Vinecy married John Davis, my gggrf. Arthur Morrow was a brother of Rebecca Morrow who married Charles Lovelace. You're trying to connect Eveline or Delia to maybe the Davis line. I don't have their names in my records, although that doesn't mean she wasn't a Davis. However, as far as I know the Davis group from NC that went to Illinois left in the early 1830's, which could indicate Eveline might not have been born to the Davis clan.
