I wonder if anyone might have any information on Elias O. Brown that married Celia Gilmore in 1845 in Greene Co., IL. I have their marriage license. The marriage license has a note that the Brown's gave their consent for Elias to marry. What age did the males have to be to marry without consent? They had two boys, Henry br. abt 1846 and Francis (Wm) br. abt 1848. Celia and the children are on the 1850 census alone, without Elias. I cannot find him in any census, nor in any of the cemetery records on the internet. If anyone has any info on him I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks Chris
