GREENE County, Illinois 1827-1830 Benjamin HUFFMAN Benjamin HUFFMAN, b. c1763, Culpeper Co., VA left VA c1804 and went to Fayette Co., KY and later to Hardin Co., KY. By 1828 he was found on the tax rolls of Greene Co., IL and again in the USC 1830 IL, Greene Co. CLARK [she is shown as DUFFMAN which is in error] Nancy HUFFMAN m. 1840 IL Levi HEIGHTON There is no evidence of Benjamin HUFFMAN after USC 1830 though a number of his children married and remained in the area well after then.
