I encourage any of you to sign the petition, even if you do not live in Florida, nor have any connection to Florida. Here in Florida, our governor is proposing to close the state library. If this is allowed to happen, other states might follow, to save money. We are hoping that when the governor sees the outcry of family historians, he will think twice, and other states will see that this is not an action they can follow in their state without outcry.
