Patricia, I'm not sure if the Scroggins & Vaughn couple who married in 1831 is my correct line. A cousin did get a copy of the marriage contract showing a Robert A. or H. and Nancy J. Scroggins ok'ing the marriage of Elizabeth in Greene Co. on Oct. 19, 1831. I also found a Robert Scroggins purchased land in Greene Co. in 1839. That's all I have on the Scroggins. Sorry.
