FYI Scottville is in northwestern Macoupin County, just a couple of miles from the Greene and Morgan county lines.

Yes, I was there in Oct...trying to find the Land's Cemetery once more...I was there in 1960 and wrote down some stone information and i wanted to see what happened in terms of stone maintenence in the meantime...my cousin from Jacksonville (Morgan co.) Illinois and I went all over Palmyra and Scottville area one sunday...oct 14 looking for the cemetery and could not find it...we went thru Scottville several times...as well as Palmyra and we asked a lot of people and no one was aware of the exact location..and only one had ever heard of the cemetery. Some people we asked even called relatives on the phone to see if they knew where it was...I only had one day to look..so unfortunately i did not locate the cemetery for a return visit. One of my ancestors was a lady whose first husband was a Land of this Cemetery.
