I have not found anything about Elizabeth Scroggins but hopefully there is someone out there checking this email researching her family. Where are you? I may get a clue to find the Vaughns. If she is the same Elizabeth as the one in the Pike Co census of 1850, she would have been born about 1812. The children listed in that census are: Martha 15, John P. 10, Wm. M. 6, and Elizabeth 2. A cousin tried to find where she and John were buried, when he was visiting Pike Co, but found nothing. I thought maybe the couple could have been buried in Greene Co. John P. Jr and his wife are bureid in Pike Co.
