    1. [ILGREENE] ILGreene new page up and working
    2. Hi, all, This is Jeannie Smith, County Coord. for Greene Co. website & mailing list. The new website is up and running! It's at the old address: http://rootsweb/~ilgreene/green.htm I've kept almost all the old links (some didn't work) and added a few new ones on the Resources page, plus added a few more goodies. All the old query, lookup, and surname pages are still working, either linked from the home page or from the Query page, and if you have a page bookmarked, then you should still be able to get there. Let me know if you can't for some reason. Next I'll be taking a look at the old surname and lookup pages and updating the links. Someone asked me about updating their surname email already. If you go to either of these pages and your email link or web page is wrong, let me know. And PLEASE PLEASE feel free to comment on the new web pages - good or bad. I've intended to make them user-friendly because they belong to all the Greene County researchers. So I need to know how they work in the real world. So have fun exploring the new pages! Jeannie Smith ILGreene County Coordinator for ILGenWeb/USGenWeb/RootsWeb.

    3. You can order microfilms of Greene Co. Probate indexes and records through your local LDS Family History Center. You can check out their catalog on-line at familysearch.org, and decide what you are interested in. Good luck!
