I am doing research in Gallatin Co.,Illinois and I am looking for information on the parents of Joseph Bishop born August 1846, and married Tabitha J. Cowen in April of 1884. They had 5 children, it assumed that almost if not all were born in Omaha Gallatin Co., I am trying to find out who Joseph Bishop's parents are. It's assumed he is named after his father. I am also trying to find the parents of Tabitha J. Cowen/Bishop born September 1856 it is assumed in Illinois. If anyone has information on these Bishops or the Cowens please let me know.
