I need HELP very bad!!!!!!! I have found this Charles McCLAIN in Gallatin Co, IL. in 1817,1818 and 1820.......but only on State Census (which I need the readings from, I only have index) and a Land Record............. I have searched for years and years for my Charles McCLAIN before he arrived in Weakley County, Tn. in 1826. I have him in Rockingham County, NC until 1815........Is this my Charles.........I need dates, children (numbers and what sex) listed on this 1820 census..........My Charles was born in the 1780s Thank you so much for your help......happy to exchange with anyone that would have an interest in the McCLAIN family........and there are many various spellings, some but not limited to........McLAIN, McLEAN, McCLANE, and many more........thank you so much for your help.............and I do hope to hear from somebody SOON........pj
