Terry Looked in the 1880 Census, nationwide and there was no Matilda Logsdon, or Bradford & Emily Deaton. Pulled up all logsdon's and deaton's for Illinois. What were childrens names? Also Check with Gallatin County Historical Society for the books you want. Perhaps they can help you. Also check with the Shawneetown Library.
